Chevrolet is bringing back an icon: the Chevy Blazer. But this all-new model is significantly different from past Blazers. The 2019 Chevy Blazer is the brand’s newest addition to the crossover segment, giving consumers the standard features they want and the power that they need.
The 2019 Chevy Blazer starts things off under the hood with two engine options. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is standard, putting out 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Customers who want a bit more power needn’t fret, though – the second engine option packs plenty of performance. This 3.6-liter V6 produces an impressive 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, providing you with plenty of pep when you’re behind the wheel.
Both of the engines come mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission, and you can also opt for either front- or all-wheel drive. When properly equipped, this crossover has an impressive maximum tow rating of 4,500 pounds.
For the 2019 model year, the Chevy Blazer has three trim levels to choose from – the base Blazer, the sporty Blazer RS, and the luxurious Blazer Premium. You will find that each of these trims offers its own unique style. For instance, the RS trim has a blacked-out exterior, while its interior incorporates red accents to make it look sportier. For the Premium trim, high-quality materials are abundant, giving you that extra dash of opulence you might be looking for.
As for the base trim, you will find a slew of standard features like Chevy’s MyLink® infotainment system, an eight-inch touchscreen, and Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone compatibility.
Here at Jack Schmitt Chevrolet, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the 2019 Chevy Blazer.
